Product SKUs of FJ Fallon Jewlery
Understand Our Product Barcode / SKU
At FJ Fallon Jewelry, every product barcode is designed to carry clear product information. It helps wholesalers, distributors, and our production team quickly identify plating color, product category, stone option, size, chain length, and other key details.
What Is a FJ Fallon Jewelry SKU?
A complete SKU is more than a simple product number. It is a structured barcode that combines plating color, product category, product attribute, main style number, and optional suffixes.
First example of a complete SKU:

Second example of a complete SKU:

Basic Structure of Our SKU
1. Plating Color Code
The first part identifies the plating color, such as 14K yellow gold, champagne gold, rose gold, or white gold.
2. Product Category Code
The second part identifies the category, such as earrings, rings, chains, bracelets, pendants, or jewelry sets.
3. Product Attribute Code
The third part indicates whether the item is plain, stone-set, enamel-designed, or belongs to another product structure.
4. Main Style Number
The main style number identifies the product design. The same design may be available in several plating colors.
5. First Suffix
Depending on the product, the first suffix may represent stone color, chain length, bracelet length, or ring size.
6. Second Suffix
The second suffix is commonly used for the size of stone-set rings or additional specifications for selected products.
Common Plating Color Codes
The plating color code appears at the beginning of the SKU. Some colors use one number, while others include a letter before the number.

| 2 | Earrings | Hoop earrings, Russian lock earrings, studs, and huggies |

Main Attribute Codes
The attribute code usually appears after the category code and indicates whether a product is plain, stone-set, or has special decorative details.
Plain Jewelry Without Stones
Code 1 usually represents a plain-color item without stone setting. For most chains, this attribute is fixed as 1.
Jewelry With Stones
Code 2 indicates that the product contains stones. A suffix may then be used to identify the stone color.
Enamel or Oil-Painted Design
Code 4 is commonly used for products with enamel-style or oil-drop details, such as black decorative accents.
Additional Sub-Attributes
Some newer SKUs may contain more detailed information about stone setting, matching sets, craftsmanship, or product structure.
How Suffixes Work
Suffixes appear after the main SKU body. A product may have one suffix, two suffixes, or no suffix depending on its category and specifications.
Stone Color
For stone-set products, the first suffix often represents the stone color and distinguishes color options within the same design.
Chain or Bracelet Length
For chains and bracelets, the suffix usually represents the length. Chain products should normally include a length suffix.
Ring Size
For rings, the final suffix normally represents the ring size. For stone-set rings, the second suffix is commonly used for size.
Why SKU Accuracy Matters
Clear SKUs help customers and sales teams identify the exact product, color, stone option, length, and size.
Correct SKU information reduces mistakes when confirming wholesale orders, samples, colors, lengths, and ring sizes.
Structured product codes make ready stock, production, packing, and repeat orders easier to manage.
